We are seeking a Laundry Aide for our long term care facility. 

Schedule: This is 60 hours per 2 week pay period, week days and every other weekend position. Weekdays scheduled are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Hours are 6:00am-2:00pm.

About our community

Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care and adult day services.

• Gather linen from designated areas, transport to laundry in covered cart
• Sort and weigh linen in specified area of laundry. Load linen into proper washer.
• Start washer; monitor water temperature to assure it remains between 160 degrees to 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Load clean linen in dryer, regulating drying time and temperature.
• Fold and place dry linen on clean linen cart.
• Distribute clean linen to each floors’ linen supply room.

• Have the ability to work independently and dependably to maintain the cleanliness of the common areas and resident living areas.
• Reading, writing and speaking English is a requirement of the position.
